Admission Procedure
Execution of session in Cantt. Board Schools is specified as per the letter received from State Govt. Normally the session commences on April and ends in March month.
Admission in any class into Cantt. Board Schools is done as per the order received from the State Govt. Normally following documents attachments are required such as :-
a) Birth certificate ( only for nursery and class 1)
b) Copy of Marksheet of the last class passed
c) School Leaving Certificate
d) Caste Certificate copy (for scholarship purpose )
e) Income Certificate copy (for scholarship purpose )
f) Samagra Id copy (for scholarship purpose )
g) Bank account copy (for scholarship purpose )
h) Adhaar card copy (for scholarship purpose )
Activities
Many competition are held for the all-round development of children in Cantt. Board Schools. Bal Mahotsav, Teachers Day, Ahilya Utsav, Kargil Vijay Divas, Hindi Divas, in SPC Macay programme Children are made aware of Indian classical music and dance. In the addition to this, various inter-school competition are organized under “Swachchata Abhiyan” such as Drawing, Debate, Slogan, Fancy dress etc. In Cantt. Board Schools on various occasions like “Swachchata Jagrukta, Matdata Jagrukta, Ahilya Utsav, Bal Divas, Kargil Vijay Divas, Unity Day etc. rally were also organized. The cadre of students participates in the Parade of Republic day which is a part of Cantt. Board Republic day celebration. Every year a team of students to participate in Sports and Cultural events respectively which are held at Central Command Level.
Facilities
a) Students in Cantt. Board Schools are provided knowledge of Skill Development such as Sewing, Parlor and Computer Education at the Vocational Training Centre.
b) Free uniform and books are provided in all Pre & Primary Schools run by Cantt. Board
c) Free text books, Scholarship and Mid Day Meal are given by the State Govt. at the schools.
d) Yoga classes are organized for training the students to be physically as well as mentally fit through meditation.
